My review of the Semrush dashboard:
The dashboard is overall excellent, user-friendly, and easy to navigate. Mainly, you can do it from the main dashboard without jumping to any other sections. This panel is the main point of Semrush making a productive dashboard and why I love using this tool more than any other marketing tool.
The only suggestion I have for improvement would be to add more customization options for the layout of the dashboard. But, overall, it’s a great toolkit that offers many features and options.

Domain Analytics is a nifty tool that allows you to research your competitor’s domain. You can see what keywords they are ranking for, their traffic estimates, paid traffic, advertising data, and even their backlink profile. This is an invaluable tool for any serious SEOs.
I was impressed with the depth of data that Domain Analytics provided. I quickly found out which keywords my competitors were ranking for and got some insights into their overall traffic picture. The backlink data was also beneficial in understanding my competitor’s link-building strategy.
Overall, I think Domain Analytics is an excellent tool for anyone looking to do some severe competitive research. It’s definitely worth the price.

The score is based on the number of backlinks pointing to a website, referring domains, organic search traffic, and other data.
The total number of visitors: This metric tells how many people visit the site each month. This can give you an idea of how popular the site is and how much traffic it’s getting.
Backlinks: This metric shows how many links are pointing to the site. The more backlinks a site has, the more authority it has.
Organic traffic: This metric shows the site’s traffic from organic search. This can give you an idea of how well the site ranks for keywords and how much traffic it’s getting from search engines.
Paid traffic: This metric shows the site’s traffic from paid ads. This can give you an idea of how much money the site is spending on advertising and how effective its ads are.
Backlinks: The Backlinks section provides data visualizations on the number of the domain’s backlinks, the ratio between following and no follow links, referring websites, IPs and TLDs.
Display Advertising data: The Display Advertising section provides visual data on the domain’s presence on Google’s Display Network, including the number of ads and publishers, text and media ads samples, and promoted landing pages.

Keyword Magic Tool
The Keyword Magic Tool is one of my favorite features within Semrush. This tool allows you to find relevant keywords for your website with ease. Best of all, it provides accurate monthly search volume data and competition levels for each keyword.
One neat feature of the Keyword Magic Tool is the ability to filter keywords by topic. For example, you could use the topic filter to find keywords related to “SEO” or “social media marketing.”
To use the Keyword Magic Tool, simply enter a seed keyword into the search bar. Then, select your desired country and language from the drop-down menus. Once you click “Search,” you’ll see a list of related keyword suggestions, along with monthly search volume data and competition levels.
If you want to further filter the results, you can click on the “Filter” button at the top of the page. This will open up a menu with various options, such as keyword difficulty, SERP features, and word count.
One of the coolest things about the Keyword Magic Tool is that it offers a “Keyword Overview” for each keyword. This overview provides insights into search intent, SERP features, and top-performing pages for that keyword.
To access the Keyword Overview, simply click on any keyword in the list. Then, scroll down to the “Keyword Overview” section at the bottom of the page.
The Keyword Magic Tool is an incredibly powerful tool that can help you find relevant keywords for your website. If you’re looking for a way to boost your SEO efforts, I highly recommend using this tool.
Organic Traffic Insights
The Organic Traffic Insights tool is another one of my favorite features within Semrush. This tool allows you to see how your website’s organic search traffic has changed over time.
To use the Organic Traffic Insights tool, simply enter your domain into the search bar and click “Search.” Then, select the timeframe that you want to analyze from the drop-down menu.
Once you click “Show Report,” you’ll see a line graph that displays your website’s organic traffic data. If you hover over any point on the graph, you’ll see the exact number of organic visitors for that day.
You can also use the traffic analytics tool to see how your website’s organic traffic has changed from one country to another. To do this, simply select the “Compare Countries” option from the top menu.
Then, select the countries that you want to compare from the drop-down menus. Once you click “Show Report,” you’ll see a line graph that displays your website’s organic traffic data for each country.
The Organic Traffic Insights tool is a great way to see how your website’s organic traffic has changed over time.
Bulk Backlink Analysis
The Bulk Backlink Analysis tool is a great way to see all of the backlinks pointing to your website. Best of all, it provides detailed information about each backlink, such as anchor text, target page, and link type.
This tool is particularly useful for competitive analysis, as you can quickly see which websites are linking to your competitors. From there, you can decide whether or not to try and get those same links.
Unfortunately, the Bulk Backlink audit tool is only available in the paid version of Semrush. However, it’s still a valuable tool that can help you improve your link-building efforts.
Ease of use
When I first started using Semrush, I’ll admit that I was a bit overwhelmed by all of the features and options. Thankfully, the platform is designed in a way that makes it easy to find what you’re looking for.
